Patrick Lewtschanyn is a Chicago-based director with a background in cinematography and editing.

As a visual storyteller, Patrick moves the human heart through imagery. Whether it’s an epic showpiece, a soulful character study, or a blending of both in his signature style, Patrick seeks to elicit the full spectrum of emotion through film. He brings to every project a fresh eye, a love of the craft, and a deep understanding of the story to be told.

Patrick’s directing and editing work has been nominated for multiple Emmys, including Best Campaign, Outstanding Achievement in Commercials, and Outstanding Achievement in Editorial. He has worked with the likes of Razorfish, Fleishman Hillard, Swanson Russell, Rise Advertising, All Terrian, Blackberry, Kraft, Kelloggs, ASUS, Goose Island, Never Summer, University of Chicago, AT&T, CVS, The MacArthur Foundation and the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation.

On the horizon for Patrick are narrative film-making and continued success with Loose Cannon Films, a full-service production company he founded in 2013.
