With a background in editing and over a decade of experience within the commercial landscape, Dustin Foster’s move into directorial work was a simple transition. Growing up in a small midwest town with only a fresh water coast to use as a backdrop, Dustin is comfortable being the underdog. It’s also why Chicago chose him to launch his award-winning career, as his “roots were just across the lake.” His instincts as an editor and acute eye for detail have provided a solid foundation for his content, branded or not. Regardless of project, Dustin looks for equal parts authentic moments and design driven details that once paired in post seem to arrive on screen with little or no effort. His work has been featured on Screen, AdWeek and Creativity and he’s collaborated with companies like Intel, Kellogg’s, MillerCoors, Merrell and Microsoft. Top agencies like Leo Burnett, FCB, AbelsonTaylor, OnionLabs, Omnicom Group and networks like Travel Channel, Discovery, A&E and ESPN.
Dustin is one of the partner’s of Chop & Hue founded in 2013. When he’s not on set, or locked in an edit suite he loves spending time with his wife, twin daughters and his french bulldogs.Request Reel
